On-line Continuing Education Welcome to the UAMS Rural Hospital Program on-line Continuing Education Site. This site is designed to provide continuing education access to health professionals in Arkansas. Continuing education is completed by viewing an entire streaming video presentation and completing a series of evaluations including post-test questions. To locate Program Resources (PowerPoint Presentations, Objectives, Speaker Bios/Disclaimers) for each CE video follow the link below. Real Player and Java Virtual Machine are needed to view all continuing education programs.
The activities listed in this Continuing Education Center are available for Continuing Medical Education (CME), Pharmacy and Nursing credit. These activities have been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the sponsorship of UAMS College of Medicine Office of Continuing Medical Education accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical education to sponsor continuing education for physicians and the UAMS Rural Hospital Program; an approved provider of Nursing Continuing Education by the Arkansas Nurses Association. The Arkansas Nurses Association is an approval body for continuing education by the American Nurses Association's Commission on Accreditation (ANCC-COA). This does not in any way imply an endorsement or approval of any commercial products by the American Nurses Association's Commission on Accreditation (ANCC-COA), ACCME, American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), or UAMS.
