Who We Are Dedicated Professionals The staff of the Rural Hospital Program are diverse and dynamic. As the campus leaders in compressed video facilitation, our team provides quality assistance to all of our affiliates throughout the state. Philosophy: Customer Driven The affiliations with the Rural Hospital Program are not management contracts but opportunities for each facility to establish an effective relationship with UAMS that will strengthen the hospital and its staff while maximizing state resources. While respecting each hospital's autonomy, the Rural Hospital Program assists in the provision of services that will result in the retention of patients locally. Although formal affiliation agreements are in effect, the Program does not interfere with the decision-making authority of the individual hospital Board of Trustees. Joint planning, shared goal setting and ongoing assessment of results assure the effectiveness of the affiliation. There is a conscious effort to build a positive relationship with each affiliate and to assure each participant efficient access to needed services and problem solving consultations. The Rural Hospital Program is customer-driven. Hospital staff and administrators provide direction as to the specific needs they would like to see addressed. The Administrators' Listserve is enables affiliates to communicate the priority needs that may be met by resources at UAMS. |
